A popular pub, the Bull’s Head in Little Hallam Hill, Ilkeston, is set to re-open, after plans were approved by Erewash Borough Council.
But changes will be made to the landmark inn which closed last year.
William May Developments Limited, Beeston, will re-open it as a micropub, with food on offer all day. Alterations to the layout of the building are planned.
A major new development will be the addition of ten bed and breakfast facilities.
Five two-bedroom homes are also planned for part of the car park area.
