It was my absolute pleasure to walk down to Canal Vue Care Home again this morning with Miss Oldnall and her Year 6 group. The children had written the residents some Christmas cards in return for the ones they received last week. We also took the prizes for the colouring competition which was judged by Councillor James Dawson; well done to the winners. The residents were thrilled to see the children again who were waving to them from outside with a sign wishing the residents a Happy Christmas. Thank you to activities coordinator Naomi for inviting us back down. We hope we bought a little cheer to their day and get to visit again soon. Mrs Wheatley ❤
