Funeral of William Henry (Bill) Guy
02/09/1944 – 22/04/2020
My father's funeral is taking place on Thursday 7th of May. Due to the current situation we are all in, we are unable to welcome the many friends Dad had made over the years to say their goodbyes.
Dad will be at 313 Godfrey Drive just after 11.30am. He will be leaving for Bramcote crematorium at 11.45am.
He will be dressed to impress, wearing his beloved Derby County shirt.
Dad was an avid follower of the Rams. In his younger days he worked as a pipe maker at Stanton Ironworks. In his leisure time he coached football teams and enjoyed working in his allotment. He also liked reading and watching TV.
We would ask that anyone who would like to see Bill off to turn up in your team’s colours, as we all know he was a true football fan and a lover of the game.
