More time to give your views
The public consultation on proposals to develop housing on several sites in Erewash has been extended to ensure residents have plenty of opportunity to give their views in these difficult times.

The consultation had been due to close on 20 April but Erewash Borough Council has confirmed it will remain open until further notice.

Many residents have already shared their views on the council’s choice of preferred housing sites to meet the borough’s housing needs over the next two decades. The local plan consultation on growth options will form part of the council’s Core Strategy.

Councillor Michael Powell, Erewash Borough Council’s Lead Member for Regeneration and Planning, says:

“These are challenging times and residents and businesses are obviously dealing with the immediate impact of the coronavirus in these unprecedented times. But this is an important consultation and, while we have already received many responses, we want to ensure everyone has the opportunity to share their views.”
