Tractor Run for Cancer Research
Twenty-one tractors gathered at the Carpenters Arms car park, Dale Abbey at 10am on a dry Saturday morning March the 14th 2020.
After putting bunting and balloons on the tractors and a cuppa, they set off through Stanley and Locko Park before returning to the Carpenters Arms around 12.45 for a well deserved bacon cob or a bowl of soup.
All this was to raise money for Cancer research. So far we have raised £215.15 which is fantastic. This is the 4th year we have done this fund raising run and always have a great turn out of tractors so thank you to Liz and her team for the food, everyone who drove a tractor, sat in a trailer,followed in a car, cheered them on and to every one who donated to this fantastic cause.
