TimeSwap knitters have raised £400 towards the training of a guide dog
Ilkeston TimeSwap members recently handed over a cheque for £400 to Guide Dogs for the Blind.
The money was raised through the sale of knitted Christmas items made by the knitting group, aided by friends from the Oasis Christian Centre, Long Eaton.

Sandra Kimbley of the group said: "Having been part of Sharon’s journey to receiving a guide dog, we see at first hand how very important it is to support this wonderful charity and what a difference it makes to people’s quality of life."
