New Community Choir launches in Ilkeston
A new ladies' choir is to launch in 2020, meeting every Wednesday morning from 10am to 11am at The Arena Church in Ilkeston.
One of the aims of Ilkeston Community Choir is to create a fun environment for women to sing and meet new friends.
Musical Director Charlotte Mendly is keen to promote the positive impact of singing on mental health and many of the existing members at Brinsley have commented on how good singing in the choir makes them feel.
Your Community Choir supports local charities through fundraising and concerts from which great results have already been seen.
