Mark Clifford is named as new head coach at Ilkeston Town FC.

Clifford has a long association with the Robins as a player and joins them from Basford Utd.
He sees his appointment as a big challenge but is confident of making his mark. He is excited at joining an ambitious, well supported club and is looking forward to working with the current squad and adding to it if necessary.
It is thought that about 30 people applied for the job but, according to COO Nick Hawkins, Clifford ‘stood out’.
