Finding Nancy

There is no end of bad publicity at the moment with reference to ‘Drones’. I thought that you might like to see a more positive and local side to them.
Recently a little Chihuahua called Nancy, who had just been rescued and re-homed only 48 hours earlier went missing. And together with Dog SOS Derbyshire, Drone SAR lost dogs UK (both on Facebook, both volunteer manned) went to look for her.

The video contains some great views of the fields bordering Kirk Hallam.
When we found her she was in shock, and dehydrated. but otherwise, not too bad. After an overnight stay with the vet,. she was returned to her family.
She is now at home again, settling in, and no doubt planning her next adventure….
