Death of Dedicated Community Worker
The family of John Wheatley of Birdcroft Lane would like you to know that he died on 3rd June 2019, aged 87 years. He was a loving son and brother and faithful husband of Anne, loving father to Chris, Adrian and Anna and devoted Grandfather to Holly and Sam, he will be sadly missed by all the family.
The funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Monday 24th June at St John’s Church, Nottingham Road, Ilkeston, where he served faithfully in many roles for over fifty years, followed by cremation at Bramcote Crematorium and afterwards there is a Reception in St Johns Church Hall.
