Cycle Ride for Ben’s Den
On Saturday morning at 6am a group of 11 lads set off from Spanish Bar, Ilkeston to cycle to Mablethope to raise money for Ben’s Den. Some had to buy bikes and are by no means experienced cyclists. The heavens opened and it poured for the majority of the day.
But the wind and rain didn’t dampen their spirits. The challenge was completed in just over 7 hours with over £7,000 being raised so far. One of the cyclists was Ben’s brother. We’re so proud of what they all achieved in such awful conditions.
