A big thank you to Revd Christine French who tonight gave us a cheque from the proceeds of her book ‘Diary of a Vicarage Cat’ which is still selling! £1,100 is a fantastic sum of money and reflects the popularity of Florence’s monthly column in the paper. Florence is deaf but doesn’t let her disability hold her back – her stories in and around Kirk Hallam All Saints Church are enjoyed by many people who find inspiration from her jottings.
