Darts Open
We are holding our annual Charity Darts Open once again at Hogarths, South Street, Ilkeston on Sunday 17th March.
Since last year we have now been recognised in a national newspaper as ‘The biggest Charity Darts Open in Derbyshire’.
Sceptics said the venue was never going to work, “A Gin Palace in Ilkeston?”…..however it has proved to be a massive success.
Hogarths has become popular with an extensive array of gins and the darts tournament now has a huge following.
We have run events very successfully; besides this charity event, we have staged three other tournaments, charity coffee mornings and regular entertainment for customers of all ages.
The annual Darts Open has raised over £3,000 in our previous two years for a local charity Ben’s Den, which provides caravan holidays for children who are terminally ill. This year we are hoping to raise even more.
