Cubs cook USA style
The 8th, 16th and 10th Ilkeston Cubs all entered into this year’s District Cooking Competition over the weekend, cooking a two course meal on an American theme.
Delicious dishes of Jambalaya, Burgers & Fries, Pancakes with Maple Syrup and Cheese Cake were served to the judges. The food produced was of a very high standard and was enjoyed by all!
First place was awarded to 10th Ilkeston Cubs, followed closely in joint second place by 8th Ilkeston and 16th Ilkeston Cubs. Well done to all for a great morning of friendly competition and fabulous food!
