The power of kindness…
At the shelter with our lovely bloke guest No.3 while he waited for his lift to leave for his new home and new start after 5 yrs homeless.
On loading the car “this is weird i cant believe it” and left crying.
All this comes down to the wonderful Community Spirit back in Ilkeston to make this happen, what a massive impact we are making together to our vulnerable homeless.
Every little act we all do makes that difference, from a porch stock piled with items every day, local businesses helping, volunteers, furnishing a flat in a hour, donated meal nights, shower cubicle, to many to mention, all simple acts of kindness, generosity and support, we certainly are wrapping our arms around them and giving them a chance of a life.
