Last weekend saw the diamond reunion of pupils who were last together at Ilkeston Grammar School in 1958.
On Friday 15 June, 19 of us met at the Carpenters Arms in Dale Abbey for a casual get together.
On Saturday morning a smaller group met for coffee at Trowell Garden Centre.
Saturday evening ended the proceedings with 22 sitting down for a carvery meal at the Toby Inn in Chaddesden. A celebratory cake was made by me especially for the occasion.
There is always a lovely friendly atmosphere as we chat about our happy school days 60 years ago.
