Lucy Haywood:
I work at Dallimore Primary School in Kirk Hallam as the PE coordinator. The past two weeks we have been taking part in the National Big Pedal initiative. The children have been encouraged to bike or scoot to school and it has been a huge success. As part of the event I also organised a bike/scooter obstacle course. Most children took part in it; they paid a pound and all the funds go to my charities (Bens Den, Mind and Treetops) as I’m riding London to Paris in 4 days, so it’s been great to get the children involved.
