Kirk Hallam Church is organising a traditional Street Party to celebrate the Royal Wedding on Saturday 19th May from 2 till 5pm.
It will take place on the church drive in front of the church on Ladywood Road, where there will be lots of red, white and blue decorations.
Attractions will include a children’s fancy dress competition, an adults’ fancy hat and cap competition, a trifle eating contest, a sing-along and some traditional games. There will also be stalls.
People are asked to bring a picnic, although there will be sandwiches, cakes and drinks available.
