Don’t become a scam victim
A word of warning:
WARNING TO ALL – As we are fast approaching the new tax year be aware of SCAM emails & SCAM phone calls stating that you are owed money and they require your bank details to pay it. Be assured the Inland Revenue will only ever contact you by POST. They DO NOT hold every single persons email address & phone number. If you receive an email – DELETE it straight away. If you receive a phone call HANG UP (however persistent they may be) – NEVER give out personal information……If in doubt contact them direct. Their phone number will be listed under HMRC on Google….
