Meet the Easter Bunny and hunt for eggs at Treetops!

Local charity Treetops Hospice Care is welcoming children and families to hunt around its gardens and grounds for Easter Eggs on Saturday 31 March.

Over 1,000 children and their families are expected to attend the popular Easter Egg Hunt at the hospice in Risley between 10am and 1pm – and each child will get to take home an egg.

Families will also be able to meet the Easter Bunny and Peppa Pig, enjoy a Chocolate Tombola, fairground rides, donkey rides, games, Have-a-go archery and refreshments.

Senior community and events fundraiser, Mary Rose, said:

“Our Easter Egg Hunt is always really, really popular, with families coming from across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to enjoy hunting around our 12 acre site – and we have plenty of eggs that have been generously donated by local people and businesses.

“The Egg Hunt always puts a smile on children’s faces and helps us raise money for a very worthwhile local cause at the same time.

“Do come and join us for a packed day of family-friendly fun!”

Entry costs £4 per child (including Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Egg) – all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Treetops provides nursing care and emotional support for adults in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Hospice services include Support and Information, a Day Care Unit, Hospice at Home nurses and Therapeutic Services including counselling, art therapy and complementary therapy.
