Mystery picture.
Can anyone throw any light on this picture?
The owner Colin Hollis found it after his father died. He thinks it may have been taken in the sixties and is more than likely an Ilkeston gathering. Dad Sydney had been a miner so the place could be the oId Ilkeston Miners Welfare building near Victoria Park. But he and his wife Emily also had connections with Booth’s and Charnos and attended several social events at those places. They are both in the photograph.
