The Friends of Kirk Hallam Lake received a Special Award at the Erewash in Bloom Awards this afternoon. I know you will probably have an article on the Awards but would like to say congratulations to our small team of workers, Brian, Robert, Lee and Matt who spend valuable time every Tuesday and Sunday morning, come rain or shine, making the lake area look beautiful. They have been doing this for many years, with the full backing of the rest of the Friends, and thoroughly deserve this special award.
