Treetops Bridal Boutique in Wollaton is appealing for donations of wedding dresses of all styles and sizes for brides-to-be on a budget.

The Bridal Boutique, based above the Treetops charity shop on Bramcote Lane, prides itself on offering new and pre-loved wedding gowns and accessories all at affordable prices.

Proceeds from the shop go to Treetops Hospice Care which provides nursing care and emotional support for adults their carers and families across Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Derby and Derbyshire.

Polly Lang, shop manager, explained “With the average wedding dress costing over £1000, we know that a lot of brides-to-be simply can’t afford to buy something brand new but still want to look and feel amazing on their wedding day.

“Most women wear their wedding dress just once and then store them away somewhere. We are asking them to please donate their dress so that someone else can create their own memories of a wonderful day in a beautiful dress.

“We welcome dresses of all different styles, shapes and sizes for women of all ages – every customer is different! We’d especially welcome dresses sized 12 and above.

“All our dresses are extremely high quality and we have an appointment system so that all our customers have the time to have a good look around and try things on in a relaxed environment.”

Wedding dress donations can be taken to any of the Treetops charity shops with locations, opening days and times available on the charity’s website: www.treetopshospice.org.uk/support-us/charity-shops

Treetops Hospice Care services include Support and Information, a Day Care unit, Hospice at Home nurses and Therapeutic Services including counselling and complementary therapy. The hospice supports over 1,700 people each year with life-limiting conditions such as cancer, motor neurone disease and multiple sclerosis.
