Erewash Borough Council’s ever-popular Bold as Brass programme of free concerts gets underway this weekend, with music lovers promised top quality performances throughout the summer.

The annual brass concert season is always a big hit with local residents and visitors to Erewash alike – and the 2017 line-up once again sees performances organised at venues across the borough.

Bold as Brass will feature 11 free concerts between June and August and kicks off with Ilkeston Brass at Victoria Park in Ilkeston on Sunday 4 June at 2pm.

All the events are free. Seating is limited for the outdoor concerts in West Park and Victoria Park so concert-goers are advised to take along their own chairs or blankets.
