The Mayor of Erewash, Councillor Abey Stevenson, has sent out a borough-wide invitation for residents and businesses to join him for the annual Charity Civic Dinner – one of the major fundraising events in the Mayor’s calendar.
This year’s event will be held at Erewash Valley Golf Club in Stanton by Dale on Friday 31 March, with proceeds going to local charities chosen by the Mayor at the end of his year in office.
The evening will begin with a wine reception at 7.15pm followed by dinner at 8pm, with the civic dress code of cocktail or long evening dresses for the ladies and dinner jackets or lounge suits for the men.
The main entertainment will be provided by Johnny Victory, who will perform a variety of music from the Music Hall days to the present day.
