Charity boxes, a telephone cash box and the entire chocolate stock has been stolen from the refreshment bar at Ilkeston Community Hospital.
Mike Perry, chairman of the hospital’s League of Friends said: “We can ill-afford to lose cash and suffer inconvenience caused by nefarious individuals who, fortunately for them, perhaps do not need treatment / medical help.
“The League appeals to the community to trace the offenders who, wehope, now regret their actions. The telephone cash box unit was found in a foot-path opposite the hospital, broken open, near to Bellinis Garage, and perhaps a member of the public may have seen them?”
