Staff of Tesco Ilkeston were in town on Saturday supporting a food and money collection. They, along with Erewash MP Maggie Throup and Erewash Mayor Abey Stevenson were in Ilkeston Market Place to raise awareness of Fareshare, the organisation that collects ‘out of date’ but not unusable food from participating stores such as Tesco and distributes it to local food based charities.
