Erewash Borough Council’s scheduled maintenance works to three of its car parks in Ilkeston will commence in April.
Relining works to car parks at Stanton Road and East Street in Ilkeston will take place on Wednesday 6 April and on Lower Bath Street car park on Wednesday 13 April. These car parks will be closed for the day to allow the works to be carried out.
Notices will be displayed at all three sites advising car park closure dates and the nearest available parking places.
Councillor Garry Hickton, Erewash Borough Council’s Lead Member for Environment, says:
“The council will display notices around these sites in advance of the works commencing and it is hoped to keep disruption to a minimum for residents and visitors to the borough.”
The relining works are weather dependent so if it is raining on these days the works will not take place and will be rescheduled for another day.
