Vampires, witches and things that go bump in the night will make for a ghoulishly good time at Erewash Museum this October half term.
Free Halloween-themed crafts will be on offer between 11am and 3pm each day from Monday 26 through to Thursday 29 October – while there will also be a competition activity trail around the Museum, with a prize for the winner.
On Friday 30 October, ‘Owl Experience’ will visit the Museum with a selection of owls, hawks and falcons to meet and handle – a popular attraction that is sure to be a big hit with children and families.
Councillor Mike Wallis, Erewash Borough Council’s Lead Member for Culture and Leisure, says:
“Our Halloween-themed weeks are always a huge success, and this year is no different. Children of all ages can have a spooktacular time during their half term holiday – so we will see you there!”
The Owl Experience is an educational centre offering ‘hands on’ flying of birds of prey and is based in Risley – www.owlexperience.co.uk
