Drama of Good Friday to be portrayed on the streets
A Good Friday Walk of Witness in Ilkeston town centre takes place 14th April.
Local churches combine to mark the events leading up to Christ’s crucifixion.
The silent procession starts with a service in St Mary’s church at 10 am and finishes at Ilkeston Methodist Church at St Andrews just after 11. On the way (via Market Place and Bath street) there will be dramatic presentations to remind us of the events of the day.
