This has been a tough year for most of us, but this year started off particularly badly for my husband, Dave, who was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, even though he had not shown any symptoms at all.
Fortunately, he completed his treatment just before full lockdown in March and has recently been given the all clear!
Accordingly, Dave has asked me to urge all men over the age of 50 to go for a PSA test at their doctors – it could be a lifesaver! Indeed, if the condition is found early enough the chances of successful treatment are very high.
To raise awareness and funds, I have decided to embark on a challenge to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.
