We are so sorry to say that Jim Sumner, for many years a regular contributor to Ilkeston Life, has died.
He passed away on Friday 4th September.
His daughter Debbie informed us that ‘he wound down with great comfort, contentment and peace at home’.
He had latterly suffered with Alzheimer’s disease….
