Well done Dennis!
Jackson's chippie on Market Street is back open, and on Saturday 1st August Dennis is donating all his takings to Ilkeston Hospital. Why? It's his 82nd birthday and that's the kind of guy he is.
Over the years Dennis has raised thousands of pounds for local charities through his cycling. For a donation, customers could guess how long it would take him to get to Skegness and the one who was nearest got a feast of fish and chips.
We at Ilkeston Life will always be very grateful to him for his support when we started out.
