Tickets for this year’s Civic Bonfire and Fireworks display at West Park in Long Eaton are now on sale, with online tickets offering amazing discounts to the on-the-night entrance prices.

The thrilling event on Saturday 2 November is once again tipped to attract thousands of people and is themed around the swashbuckling music, the Pirates of the Caribbean. Organised by Erewash Borough Council, it is one of the biggest community bonfire and firework displays in the area which last year attracted over 10,000 visitors.

A family ticket bought online can be snapped up for just £15 (two adults and up to three children) offering a £5 saving, with a family ticket costing £20 for those paying on the night. Discounted Adult tickets are £7, children under 16 and senior citizens (over 60) £4.

Residents can visit www.erewash.gov.uk to buy tickets in advance to take advantage of the incredible savings.

Pre-paid tickets for the same price as online can be purchased from Ilkeston and Long Eaton Town Halls (until 4.30pm Friday 1 November) Erewash Museum (until 3.30pm Saturday 2 November) and West Park Leisure Centre (until 5.30pm Saturday 2 November)

Tickets can also be bought on the night at the West Park entrance gates with family tickets at £20, adult tickets for £8, and children 16 and under and senior citizens paying £5.

Admission is free for children aged 5 and under.

“Even though Bonfire Night seems a long way off, it makes sense to take advantage of these great online savings on your tickets! Our display and celebration is by far the biggest and best for miles around and is enjoyed every year by thousands of people – so we’ll hope see you there!”
