The former Hillcrest care home in Kirk Hallam has been sold for £366,000.
It went under the hammer at Derby County’s Pride Park Stadium and sold for more than £100,000 over the guide price.
The auction was conducted by SDL Auctions Graham Penny.
The building on Kenilworth Drive was home to 24 residents until 2016 when it was closed by Derbyshire County Council following a re-think of its adult social care provision.
The closure went ahead despite a fight to keep it open by local residents.
