A retired Ilkeston businessman has given himself a new look for the new year and at the same time raised money for a local baby loss support charity.

Martyn Oliver ‘braved the shave’ on Saturday 12th January by undergoing a full head and moustache shave for Forever Stars, a charity that helps families of still born and short life babies, raising £1,300 in the process.

Jo Sharp of Forever Stars said, “This was an amazing fundraising effort from Martyn, especially considering he had had his moustache for over 40 years! Forever Stars are delighted that he chose to lose it in our honour.”
