Christmas Eve Carol Service
Children will be able to see Santa in Ilkeston on Christmas Eve when a traditional carol service takes place in Ilkeston Market Place from 7pm.
This will be a wonderful event for family and friends to celebrate a very special time of year with carols and readings. Santa will be meeting children and handing out sweets before he heads off to make his deliveries.
Councillor Mike Wallis, Lead Member for Leisure and Culture, says:
“This is one of the most popular events organised by the Council, and really brings home the true meaning of Christmas, especially after all the hustle and bustle of preparing for the big day. Come down and join in with the festive carols!”
