Sarah’s Poppies on sale at match

Look at these beautiful poppies.made with love.
Sarah Smart originally started making them with the intention of contributing them towards Erewash Museum’s poppy project, but was told they had enough.
Undeterred, she decided do her own thing involving Ilkeston Town FC.
Sarah works at the Robins’ clubhouse. Ilkeston have a home game against Wulfrunians on 10th November, the day before ’11/11′ when the 100th anniversary of the First World War Armistice is celebrated.
She says: “I will be taking the poppies I have made to the game and I am hoping as many people as possible will buy one. All the money raised will go to the Royal British Legion.”
