May the ‘savings’ be with you
Tickets for this year’s Erewash Bonfire and Fireworks display will be on sale Monday 10 September, with out of this world savings to be had with the introduction of our new online tickets sales facility. Stellar discounts are also on offer for pre-paid tickets bought in advance.
The 2018 display at Long Eaton’s West Park on Saturday 3 November is once again tipped to attract thousands of people. Organised by Erewash Borough Council, it is one of the biggest community bonfire and firework displays in the area and this year’s theme is ‘Space Odyssey’.
It has never been easier to purchase your tickets for the extravaganza with tickets available online from www.gigantic.com where huge savings can be made. Adult tickets are £5, children under 16 and senior citizens (over 60) pay just £2 and family tickets (2 adults and up to 3 children) can be snapped up for just £10, a massive saving on the £20 on-the-night price.
Pre-paid tickets bought from West Park Leisure Centre, Long Eaton; Victoria Park Leisure Centre, Ilkeston; and Ilkeston and Long Eaton Town Halls are another way the council can offer fantastic value for money savings to the event – a family ticket is £15, adults can take advantage of a ticket for £7 and children under 16, and those over 60, pay only £2.
Tickets can also be bought on the night at the West Park entrance with family tickets at £20, adult tickets for £8, and children 16 and under and senior citizens paying £5.
Admission is free for children aged 5 and under.

“Even though Bonfire Night seems a long way off, it makes sense to take advantage of these great savings on your tickets, especially with the bonus this year of being able to purchase online. Our display and celebration is by far the biggest and best for miles around and is enjoyed every year by thousands of people – so we’ll hope see you there!”
