Lovely last day assembly at St Thomas Catholic Primary School this morning (20.7.18) with certificates being presented to many children and a special presentation to Katie Tompkins who won a nationwide competition to design a T-shirt logo for this year’s Robin Hood Mini-Marathon sponsored by IKANO Bank.
Two thousand runners will be wearing her design in September.
The T-shirt and framed certificate were presented by IKANO Bank representative Kelly Newman.
Also in the pictures is Mr Lobb (school head). Katie’s winning design is also shown.
Kelly said there had been hundreds of entries in the competition, then a shortlist of four was drawn up. Katie’s design gained the most votes in the subsequent online poll by some distance.
St Thomas school will also receive a cheque for £100.
