Children at Scargill C of E Primary School took to the stage for a grand finale after learning all about World War Two.
The pupils in Year 3 and 4, at the school in Beech Lane, West Hallam, have been learning about the outbreak of the War, the Blitz, how people kept safe and what life was like for evacuees. They have baked rationing recipes and have been reading Michael Morpurgo’s Friend of Foe.
To finish off the topic the children then performed the production of Edith’s Wartime Scrapbook to family and friends.
