The Friends of Kirk Hallam Lake and Meadows were very pleased to receive a Special Award for Continued Commitment and Dedication at the 2017 Erewash in Bloom Awards recently. Members meet every Wednesday and Sunday morning at the lake to mow, weed, and other essential tasks.
The next Committee Meeting is to be held in the Community Room in the Sixth Form building at Kirk Hallam Community Technology & Sports College on Monday, 20 November, at 6.30 pm. Anyone interested in the welfare of this lovely beauty spot, would be very welcome to join us.
