17-year-old student, Lia White from Bramcote, successfully auditioned on ITV’s The Voice. Lia wowed the judges in the blind auditions, securing a place on Team Will.i.am and is now facing the battle rounds which will be aired on Saturday 25th February 2017.
Lia was interviewed on Erewash Sound by local radio presenter Emma Snow during her Wednesday afternoon show. Erewash Sound is a community radio station which broadcasts from Cotmanhay, Ilkeston. Listeners can tune in locally on 96.8FM or from anywhere via the website or the Erewash Sound App.
Lia spoke to Emma about her experience on The Voice so far and her aspirations as a young singer.
