MORRISONS ILKESTON HELPS TO PROVIDE INCREDIBLE CARE THIS CHRISTMAS

Collegues at Morrisons Ilkeston in Ilkeston, Derbyshire are preparing a whole month of festive fundraising in support of Sue Ryder and other local charities.
Throughout December colleagues will be getting in the festive spirit by wearing their finest Christmas jumpers for Morrisons national charity partner Sue Ryder amd hosting a variety of fundraisers in store, including a Toy Appeal Launch from the 5th December, donation of Mistletoe on the 12th December and Carrots for Rudolf available from the 20th December

The Fundraising will start on Tuesday 29th November to mark #GivingTuesday, a global day of charity giving which is being supported by Morrisons. For one day only customers will be able to add £1 donation to Sue Ryder to their shopping at the checkout.
Morrisons is aiming to raise £100,000 in donations this December, which could pay for 30 expert nurses to care for Sue Ryder’s patients and families over the Christmas Period

The stores Community Champion Tracy Davidson said “We’re really looking forward to celebrating Christmas and raising money for great causes at the same time. With just two months left of our partnership with Sue Ryder we hope to raise as much as possible throughout December. We’d love our local customers to enjoy their Christmas shop and leave Morrisons with a smile”

Morrisons Ilkeston is also stocking several new products to raise money for Sue Ryder this Christmas, including a floral 2017 calander, Morris the Christmas Elf soft toy and a range of festive £1 and £2 scratchcards, which are on sale at the kiosk. Morrisons is also making a donation of £50,000 to Sue Ryder from the sale of its charity Christmas cards, which are available in store now.
