This is turning into a farce!
The Evo-Stick Northern Premier League has banned Ilkeston from playing matches because of a breach of League Rules and has now charged them with three counts of failing to fulfill a fixture, with possible expulsion looming.
Tomorrow night’s game against Spennymoor Town has also been called off by the League.
Ilkeston’s suspension is due to non-payment of debts, but the situation is being made worse by lack of gate money.
