Erewash Borough Council has lined up a whole host of action-packed activities and lots of non-stop fun for its Holiday Club programme throughout the autumn half-term school break.

The Holiday Club is always a big hit with youngsters and will again offer a range of activities for children aged 4 to 18 years from 26 October to 30 October.

Entertainment including arts and crafts, swimming with inflatables, have-a-go sports, cheerleading and games will take place at each of the council’s four leisure centres – West Park Leisure Centre, Long Eaton; Sandiacre Friesland Sports Centre; Ilkeston’s Victoria Park Leisure Centre and Rutland Sports Park.

In addition, Erewash Museum also hosts its free Halloween Week of themed craft activities and Owl Experience at the Museum on Friday 30 October with a range of birds for visitors to meet and handle.

Councillor Mike Wallis, Erewash Borough Council’s Lead Member for Culture and Leisure, said:

“We are delighted to be able to offer, once again, non-stop entertainment and activities for children throughout the school holiday. We know parents love our Holiday Club and our packed programme will ensure youngsters enjoy themselves.”

A copy of the Holiday Club guide can be picked up from any of the four leisure centres, Erewash
