Clothing and shoes collection
Ilkeston Methodists have been moved by the plight of the refugees in Europe and have issued an invitation to the people of Ilkeston to help them. They are collecting donations of clothing and shoes – of all types and for all ages – which will form part of a much larger supply of goods to be delivered to Greece. The transport has been arranged from Matlock on 12 October.
If you are able to donate clothing and shoes – in a good clean condition – they can receive your help at St Andrews Bath Street, Ilkeston (entrance of Wilmot Street) on:
Saturday 26 September from 9.00 am to 12 noon
Tuesday 29 September from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm
Thursday 1 October from 9.00 am to 12 noon
Friday 2 October from 9.00 am to 12 noon
Saturday 3 October from 9.00 am to 12 noon
Please bring your donated goods to the church – they are sorry but they cannot arrange for any individual collections or receive any donations outside of these published dates and times.
